Closing out the 2025/2026 Season kassia performs works by Krzysztof Penderecki, Nikolai Kapustin, Post / Vallandingham and Johannes Brahms

The US Navy Band

The Navy Band Chamber Ensembles showcase a variety of small groups comprising members from the U.S. Navy Band. These ensembles frequently perform at the White House and for senior government and military events in addition to community public concerts. The same ensembles are routinely featured in the Navy Band’s Music in the Schools program, connecting with thousands of students each year through in-school performances, clinics, masterclasses and educational conferences.

A choral Voyage from England to America

A voyage from the elegance of English madrigals to the bold harmonies of colonial America. Works ranging from masterpieces of the English madrigal school to the “fuging tunes” of William Billings reveal love, longing, and joy in styles ranging from the courtly and refined to the spirited and free, bridging centuries and continents with timeless emotion.

ABOUT CARMINA

For over 25 years, CARMINA has captivated audiences with performances of music from the Middle Ages to the Baroque. Hailed by The Baltimore Sun for their “gorgeous tonal balance”, this award-winning ensemble has been honored with multiple awards, including the Choralis Foundation's Ovation Award for Best Chamber Choir.

Amelie Held

“The Pop Star of the Organ”

Named by The Diapason as a member of the “20 under 30” Class of 2023 - Organist Amelie Held performs the inaugural concert in our “Prelude to ‘27” series; celebrating the 20th anniversary of Redeemer’s Di Gennaro-Hart Pipe Organ.

Known for her red organ shoes, organist Amelie Held quickly became an internationally acclaimed artist. She regularly performs on stages in Europe and the United States. Her solo concert activities include performances at the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Philharmonie Essen, the Konzerthalle Bamberg, the Konzerthaus Dortmund, the Helsinki Music Center and the St. Petersburg Mariinsky Concert Hall as well as major cathedrals in the world’s most important music centres, such as Leipzig, Hamburg, Milan, Paris, Zurich, London, Boston and New York City.
