The Well-”Tampered” Clavier: Sam Post & Ralitza Patcheva

Sam Post and Ralitza Patcheva celebrate the release of their album The Well-"Tampered" Clavier in concert October 18 at Redeemer. They will pair selections from the new recording—a  rhythmic re-arrangement by Sam of Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier, Book 1, including some premiere performances—with other works to give context to the musical journey that made it happen. Come hear this innovative take on Bach's masterpiece, experience the new musical style that brought it into being, and celebrate the completion of the project.

The

Yale

Whiffenpoofs

Every year, 14 Yale seniors are selected to be in the Whiffenpoofs, the world's oldest and best known collegiate a cappella group. Founded in 1909, the ''Whiffs" began as a senior quartet that met for weekly concerts at Mary's Temple Bar, the famous Yale tavern. Today, the group has become one of Yale's most celebrated traditions, with over a century of musical excellence.

Singing a mixture of old Yale tunes, jazz standards, and other hits from across the decades, the Whiffenpoofs perform more than 200 concerts each year. Their characteristic white tie and tails, paired with their enthusiasm and humor, have become iconic for audiences all around the United States and across the world.

Tickets start at $20. General Admission is $40 and can be purchased at the door or in advance from Eventbrite. Due to the high demand for this event, concertgoers are highly encourage to purchase tickets in advance.
